Students have unfinished work in their bags. Please finish and return on Monday. Some students have spelling books that are packed to be used for the unit review. The test is Thursday, November 5th.

Grade Two- October 28th to 30th
Parents came for 8 of 16 students. Please sign up and come for conferences November 4 if you have not already.
No school for students on conference day, Wed Nov. 4
Language Arts: 1. Proper letter writing format 2. Recalling information “The Lucky Seed”
Mathematics: Students are becoming very comfortable with telling time. We reviewed and corrected. Test on Monday!
Social Studies: Mapping activities: directions, landmarks, and keys
Derech Eretz: Happiness!! What makes me happy is…
Science: Science experiment part II – What plants need to grow and thrive -review previous concepts (Photosynthesis, Essentials for living, and habitats)

Tuesday - Turn in reading log
Please read 10 minutes everyday. Students are turning in Reading logs that show that they have read nothing in one week or more.

Greetings parents and Grade 2 students!
I will be using the blogspot to post homework on most occasions. Our primary source of communcation will continue to be the Communication Book that students take with them every day. Also understand that while MOST students have the homework I assign on the blogspot, there may be SOME exceptions. The parents of these students will be notified through the Communication Book.

Math Practice Workbook pages 49, 50 and 51
The class turned in all of their completed homework this morning. Congratulations Grade 2!
