1. Journal Entry - journals can be kept at home
2. Read and record NEW and IMPORTANT information
3. Describing Trees activity
4. SNOWFLAKES poem contest
5. Students who need to finish the math chapters are doing well. Keep up the pace and turn in the finished work.
Regarding reading at home:
Students will NOT be receiving new reading logs because the logs they have still have many blank pages. However, please add the following information when recording into the log:
- amount of time the student read
- number of pages read during that time
If the child is reading a chapter book, which all students should be reading now, there is no need to rewrite the title each day, only the page numbers read and the amount of time used reading those pages.
All homework is due tomorrow.
House Points for students who turned in their Reading Logs filled in and on time:
Asher, Eitan, Bella, Isabel, Rachamim, and Mia
From today on, only reading logs that show at least one hour (60 minutes) of reading each week will be eligible for house points.
Also, please check the Communication book for any other messages.
Last note
Our prinicpal, Mrs. Lauren Goldman-Brown, also has a blog on the Carmel site. Please visit her blog site and find some very interesting and useful information for you and your children.
Shalom
