Announcement:
Tomorrow kicks off the swimming program in P.E. for Grade Two students. Please put the swim suit on under the child's uniform. Bring a separate bag or use the school bag to pack other necessary items mentioned in the letter to parents. Be sure to have a place for wet clothing and other materials.
Homework:
1. Lesson 21 spelling test is tomorrow. Please prepare by completing pages 122-125 and p. 127 and returning the book tomorrow.
2. Continue reading for the Read-a-thon. Log the books read into the Read-a-thon Log as well as the number of pages each completed books has.
3. Journaling will not be given credit this week, therefore you may take a break from it this week.
4. Social Studies research project: Each student will be assigned a major city in Israel. Research needs to be done to find basic facts to present to the class next Wednesday. The project criteria and some suggested websites will be given to your child tomorrow.
