Homework, modified... and announcements

Dear parents,
Some students did not pick up their spelling books before leaving class yesterday. Because of this, I am giving students an extra day to turn in the spelling lesson 23 assignment. The spelling test may be on either Thursday or Friday, depending on the readiness of the class.
Thank you for your cooperation and communication.

Homework
1. Read and record
2. Journal entry Many students can write about what happened during the afternoon recess.
3. Spelling lesson 23 due Thursday instead of Wednesday
4. Social Studies "Cities of Israel" projects are due Friday. There was no time to go over the report format, but I am assured by their enthusiasm that they will write informative and thorough reports.
5. Other work that I have given to the student to complete and return tomorrow.

NOTE:
The order of importance for the homework is actually from 5 to 1 instead of 1 to 5. The daily assignments are usually written first. Priority should be given to special assignments and assignments that are due the following day.

Communication Books:

Please continue to write all messages to the teacher in the communication book. There has been some confusion over the last few weeks regarding where students need to go after school because the student has one plan, but the communication book either says nothing or has a different plan written. Please write all messages in the communication book and not have students relay messages themselves.
You may also write notes for the whole week at one time. Please date them accordingly so that we know which note is for which date.
