1. Make final corrections in Math packets for chapters 28 and 29. (due tomorrow)
2. Language Arts (due tomorrow)
3. Read 10 minutes. Record. Get the Reading log signed. (due Friday)
4. Ms Luckett's RWI class has one page of homework (due tomorrow)
Announcements:
Points for bringing the reading log on time. Next term points will only be given if the log shows that the 2nd grader has read for 50 minutes or more for the week.

1. Field trip to the "Ohel Leah” synagogue at the JCC site tomorrow 9 dec ‘09
2. Regarding school uniforms: Students are responsible for their own uniform and its parts. If pieces are left at school, they go to the lost and found. If they are lost on the bus or elsewhere, we cannot do anything to help retrieve it. Please write your child’s name on each piece with a permanent marker.
3. Reading Logs need to be turned in on Friday. Friday ends the term. A new format for recording the reading at home will be given. Please ensure that your child is reading at least 10 minutes each day, 5 or more days per week, or 50 or more minutes during the week. Hopefully, they will read each day instead of trying to satisfy the requirement in one or two days. Reading everyday increases reading fluency and comprehension, and also mental acuity.
4. The weather is getting colder. For good health, get enough rest and drink plenty of hot liquids. Many students come in with dry skin. It bothers them. Please moisturize.
