Monday's homework

1. Read. Record. Reading logs are due tomorrow.
2. Journal Entry. Topic for today: What I learned in school today. Ask your child, "What really made you think "WOW!" today in the Grade Two class?" Write for 3 to 5 minutes without stopping. Students may use a separate sheet of paper and place it into the journal to be turned in tomorrow.
3. Bring in ONE label of ingredients from a product where one of the first 3 ingredients is either sugar or some type of fat. Please bring only EMPTY wrappers. No food, please. Due Thursday
4. In accordance with our Block 4 theme, How Do We Express Ourselves, students need to bring in a working copy of their favorite song. They should be able to tell why this is their favorite song, what emotions it brings out, and what they do (action) when listening to the musical selection. Students may bring a music CD, write down a URL address to find it on YouTube, or call Grade Two to get the teacher's email address to send the music file via email. Due Wednesday
