Homework for Tuesday, March 23, 2010
1. Read 10 minutes or more (Keep reading regularly throughout the Pesach break.)
2. Journal entry (Continue journaling throughout the Pesach break.)
3. Spelling pre-test corrections: copy each misspelled word 5 times each.
4. Spelling sentences: Choose 5 words. Write 5 sentences, using each of the words. Underline the spelling word in each sentence. Please use lined paper.
Example: 1. maybe
2. bake
3. whale
4. ate
5. baby
1. Maybe I will visit my old friend today.
2. Today we will bake a delicious birthday cake.
3. There was a baby whale playing in the sea.
4. Late last night I ate my dinner quickly.
5. Our happy baby screamed and laughed loudly.
5. MATH: Many students completed chapter 7 in Math, Counting Money. A few others have taken the packets home because there a few more corrections that need to be made. Please correct them and return the packet tomorrow.
6. Please finish and turn in late work, including tree booklets and fables
7. Also, students may get started on Lesson 15 in the Spelling book.
Dear parents,
Grade Two should have up to 20 minutes of homework each night. Please do what works for your family. The priority assignments for tonight are #5, 3, and then 4.
